Youth Program Manager, New Friends New Life
Sundal manages programming and services at the drop-in center for at-risk and exploited youth at New Friends New Life using trauma informed and youth-centered practices. Prior experience includes work as the Prevention Coordinator at The Turning Point, facilitating curricula for their primary prevention and education programs. She has worked with youth in school based and community based settings to deliver anti-trafficking and anti-sexual violence curricula, as well as work to develop different methodologies and activities to better reach young people from a holistic prevention standpoint.
Her special interests include sex trafficking prevention and research, intersectionality, and sexual violence within Muslim communities.
She has a B.S. in Public Heath from The George Washington University.
