Olivia Rivers serves as Deputy Director of The Bridge, providing comprehensive services to survivors in the Greater Houston area. Olivia has spent the last decade advocating for the rights of crime victims through advocacy and public policy. She is a member of the American Criminal Justice Association and has assisted in the creation of Sexual Assault Response Teams in collaboration with local military bases.
Olivia’s professional expertise includes research in the areas of sex trafficking, cyber-exploitation, and correlations of social media and violence. She is a member of the Adult Death Review Team, the Harris County Child Abuse Task Force and serves on the Public Policy Committee with the Texas Council on Family Violence. Olivia holds degrees in Criminal Justice and Forensic Anthropology.
Oliva has a B.S. in Criminal Justice/Forensic Anthroplogy and a M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri.
