Mufti Mohammed Wasim Khan (also known as MWK) was born in Dallas and has travelled the world and studied theology on 4 continents. Mufti Wasim graduated with the equivalent of his Masters degree at the age of 19, making him amongst the youngest Muslim scholars around the world. He is a specialist in Islamic law and jurisprudence. MWK has lectured in over a dozen countries and many universities, including Harvard and Rutgers. Mufti Wasim currently serves as the resident scholar at the Islamic Center of Frisco. He has shared many platforms with people of all faiths to advocate for social justice and community empowerment. MWK has also represented Islam through appearances in news articles and alongside members of congress on TV. He is also a business owner who has travel agencies and affiliates across the US.
