Ms. Brandmiller spearheads ASI, Inc., an agency (working on becoming a non-profit) providing family based immigration/support services to low income residents, with a special emphasis on serving victims of crime/domestic violence, human trafficking and abused/abandoned/neglected children. She has been a presenter at local, statewide, national and international conferences and has trained countless advocates on discovering and serving the immigrant victim. Her passion and enthusiasm to advocate for these often forgotten victims has no limits.
She is an attorney with experience as an Ajunct Professor at University of the Incarnate Word, Director of Immigration at Catholic Charities Archdiocese of San Antonio, a litigator with the office of the Texas Attorney General, the Administrator of Ella Austin Health Center, and the Director of Planning, Marketing and Health Education at Gateway Community Health Center. She received her JD from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio and her MA in Interdisciplinary Studies- Spanish/Psychology from Texas A&M International University (LSU) in Laredo.
