Kimberly Galindo is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. She is a Certified Sex Therapist and EMDR trained therapist. Kimberly has worked in the field of interpersonal and sexual violence for over ten years. Kimberly’s counseling interests include sexual dysfunction, healthy sexual communication, healing the sexual relationship after the impact of trauma, affair recovery, infertility miscarriage, and complex or developmental trauma experiences.
She has served in both administrative and clinical capacities within nonprofit organizations serving victims of domestic and sexual violence. Currently, Kimberly serves as associate director at the Counseling Center at First Baptist Church Richardson where she specializes in complex trauma and sexual dysfunction.
She received her M.A. Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, her B.A. in Psychology, Minor in Christian Ministry from LeTourneau University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Texas A&M University – Commerce.
Kimberly was born and raised in East Texas and now calls the Dallas area home along with her husband. She continues to seek personal and professional growth by sharing her passion, knowledge, and experience with students as an adjunct professor for Dallas Baptist University.
