Courtney Butts is a Licensed Master Social Worker who works as the Program Director at a local domestic violence agency. Courtney is responsible for the development, planning, and coordination of services aimed at building healthy relationships and preventing family violence. In 2007, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Minor in African American Studies from The University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. After moving to Dallas, Courtney obtained her MSSW at the University of Texas at Arlington. Courtney has worked to prevent relationship violence since 2006. Courtney is also a certified Doula and has coupled her passion for working with survivors of domestic violence with her love of pregnant women with mission of lowering the maternal mortality rate of Black mothers.
