Sub-Investigator, Pillar Clinical Research and Nurse Practitioner, Mayhill Hospital and Courtney’s SAFE Place/The Turning Point of Collin County

Ms. Rakeeb is an expert forensic nurse and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Her nursing career began in a medical examiner’s office where she assisted in performing hundreds of autopsies, case reviews, forensic photography, and collaborating with various forensic professionals. She then followed in her forensic nursing career by working with psychiatric patients awaiting trial. During this time, she also attending Duquesne University and graduated with a MSN in forensic nursing in 2014. Haneefa became certified as a sexual assault nurse examiner in 2013 for adult, and 201 5 for pediatrics by the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Texas. She became a board certified advanced forensic nurse through the ANCC in 2017, and has since continued to presented at IAFN conferences, mentor and train forensic nurses, and continue to collaborate with forensic professionals for various projects. Haneefa currently works as a sub-investigator with Pillar Clinical Research, nurse practitioner at Mayhill hospital, and SANE for The Turning Point in Collin County.

Ms. Rakeeb will be a co-presenter for Drug Facilitated Sexual Assault with Dr. La Tanya Thomas and Robyn Bowles.
