Carissa Cullumber received her MSW from Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis in 2008. Carissa started her career as a home-based therapist for families involved with CPS and/or Juvenile Probation due to abuse and neglect, specializing in work with sexually maladaptive behaviors in children and victims of sexual abuse. Carissa has also served as a clinical director for a large counseling center at a domestic violence agency in Dallas and has worked in private practice focused on treating complex PTSD, Dissociation, Anxiety, and Depression. Carissa is currently a counselor for Collin College on the Preston Ridge Campus in Frisco, as well as provides clinical supervision for LMSW’s working toward clinical licensure. Carissa is EMDR trained and holds a National Certification in TF-CBT.
